Youth exchange: Outgoing Meeting Sept. 14th 2024

The young people visited a variety of countries participating in the Lions Youth Exchange Program. The participants thereby had the opportunity to learn about and experience first-hand those countries’ cultures and ways of living.

In September of this year, we met some of the “Campers” in Winterthur to see and hear their presentations of their experiences. It was exciting to see their enthusiasm, as well as the pictures and stories they brought with them.

With great interest and pleasure, the audience, including Lions, Leos and Parents, learned about the projects, social activities, sport and leisure which the young people had experienced. Through the program, these Outgoings became ambassadors of the countries they had visited: Sri Lanka, Brazil, Japan, Sweden, Norway and many others.

We are looking forward once again in 2025 to sending Outgoings from Switzerland and Liechtenstein to a variety of countries around the world, once again to learn about and experience first-hand those countries’ cultures and ways of living.
